We want you to lead a brilliant diverse team to deliver excellence to our valued customers across our amazing hotel.
Experience we expect -
* General Manager, ideally with Meeting and Events background
* Background in branded hotels is preferred - so you will understand how we work
* Ability to lead and motivate your team providing day to day leadership and direction
* Ability to drive sales and profitability forward
* Excellent Customer service skills, standards driven, good organisational skills
* To be able to make decisions in a fast paced environment and to enjoy it
* Commercially sound
Your responsibilities will be:
* Meet or exceed department and hotel targets, monitoring a variety of hotel systems via a clustered support team.
* To control and monitor all hotel operations through a team of managers and supervisors
* To ensure customer satisfaction by having managers establish and maintain quality control standards for products & services offered to the customers.
* Ensure the control of costs and productivity through the establishment of standards of output for all aspects of the business.
* To ensure that we outperform the market in our specific segment and that fair share is always exceeded.
* To lead and develop an energetic workforce, having involvement in recruitment, learning and development, employee relations issue and team engagement initiatives.
