Summary
We are looking for people to join our team in our production area, We are one of the biggest pastry makers in the UK.
We are looking for new team members to help us keep up with demand!
The Position we are looking to fulfil is full time, shifts are as follows:-
Monday to Friday 39 hour week with the following shift pattern:
Monday to Thursday - 7.30am – 16.30pm
Friday - 7.30am – 15.30pm
Tea breaks included are 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon.
There are opportunities to work overtime and You may also be asked to do the occasional Saturday shift due to the time of year.
• Feeding raw material to machines
• Fix issues that might occur during the shift
• Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
• Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
• Comply with all Health & Safety policies, rules and guidelines.
• General housekeeping, and maintaining the cleanliness of the production areas.
We are looking for a Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery. You’ll ensure the interminable and efficient running of production.
A great machine operator is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. Being a team player is essential since all tasks will require close collaboration with co-workers.
You will spend most of your working day standing, and the work often involves bending, lifting, carrying and loading.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Starting rate for 21 and over is £12.91 per hour, rising to £14.15 per hour after 12 weeks.
We also have an enhanced rate for Under 21s that will be discussed at the interview stage.
No qualifications are required, if you feel you have the capability to take on this role, please get in touch.
Previous experience of food production/bakery would be great, but is not necessary as full training will be given.
