Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and caring PA to assist a friendly, easy-going gentleman with his morning routine.
Roles and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a reliable and caring Personal Assistant to provide morning support to a friendly and easy-going gentleman. The role is for five days per week, working two hours each morning starting between 8:30am and 9:00am. The role will include providing support on the weekend.
The individual requiring support is non-verbal, he is still able to communicate in his own way. The ideal candidate will be patient and will take their time to learn and understand how he communicates so they can engage with him in the way that works for him.
The individual requiring support is paralysed on one side of his body, he uses a molift, experience with using a molift previously is a bonus, however if you have not used a molift before you will shown how to use it.
The individual requiring support can brush his own teeth and is able to provide some aspects of personal care independently. The role will involve waking him up in the morning, providing some aspects of personal care, getting him dressed and providing him with breakfast.
Required Training:
Experience of using a molift, previous care experience.

The individual requiring is a sociable, outgoing person who enjoys company, conversation, joking, and watching television and films, particularly army films. He is easy going and appreciates someone who is on time and happy to chat while providing support.
How will the hours be used?
10 hours per week, The hours will be used over 5 days a week offering 2 hours of support in the morning to start between 8:30 to 9. The role will include weekend support.
