Secondary Design Technology Teacher
Location: Malvern
Contract: Full-time, long-term

Paragon Education is recruiting a creative and skilled Design Technology Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Malvern. The school values practical learning and innovation, encouraging students to develop technical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities across the curriculum.
You will be joining a collaborative department with access to well-equipped facilities and resources, providing an excellent opportunity to inspire students through hands-on learning and design projects.
What the role involves:
Planning and delivering engaging Design Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Supporting students in developing practical, creative, and technical skills
Preparing pupils for coursework and GCSE assessments where applicable
Maintaining a safe and organised workshop/classroom environment
Encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and independent learning
Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development
What you’ll need:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience teaching Design Technology in a UK secondary school
Strong subject knowledge across DT disciplines
Ability to engage and motivate students through practical learning
Good classroom management and organisational skills
A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
