About the role:

We are seeking two Casual CCTV Operators to join our established team at Cannock Chase District Council.

This is an exciting opportunity where the succesful candidates will play a key role in supporting community safety by monitoring surveillance systems, identifying potential incidents, and sharing accurate information with colleagues and partners. This role demands strong observational skills, clear communication, and a commitment to confidentiality and professional standards.

Shifts are 6 hours and will be offered to cover a 24/7 rota – this will include days, nights, bank holidays and weekends.

About you:

You will be:
• Experienced in working in a CCTV control room, or similar environment
• Reliable, observant, and able to maintain focus for extended periods
• Calm and professional when dealing with incidents and pressure situations
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately identify and report events
• Committed to confidentiality, data protection, and professional standards
