Summary

Personal Care Assistant

Hours: 18.5 per week (3–4 sessions) or job share
Pay: £17.00 per hour

We are seeking a Personal Assistant/Carer to support a woman with chronic illness to live independently at home and in the community.

Important: A genuine interest in the arts is essential. The client has a professional background in the creative industries, and shared interests are a key part of this role.

Key requirements:
Experience supporting people with chronic health conditions (essential)
Confident seeking urgent medical help if needed
Car driver with access to own insured vehicle (essential)
Duties include:
Meal preparation (restricted diet)
Light housekeeping and laundry
Personal care and support with medical needs
Companionship and emotional support
Accompanying outings and driving to appointments
Additional info:
Enhanced DBS required
Probation period applies
Self-employed applicants must provide HMRC registration and insurance
