Summary

Birmingham Newman University is seeking to appoint a part-time IT Service Desk Technician to work on Mondays and Tuesdays.  The role involves working in a first-line capacity on a busy IT Service Desk, answering and logging calls, dealing with staff, students and visitor queries on face-to-face basis, call logging system and email, escalating issues to other colleagues.   

Candidates should have experience of working in a customer-facing role, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels. They should also possess excellent IT Skills, including knowledge of Microsoft products such as Microsoft 365, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Email), with a willingness to learn and develop Information Technology skills.
