Summary
The post holder will be responsible for delivering high-quality general medical services to the practice population, providing safe, effective, and patient-centred care in line with current clinical guidelines and best practice. Salaried GP key responsibilities include: Undertaking clinical consultations, both face-to-face and remote, for a wide range of acute and chronic conditions Assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients appropriately, including prescribing and referral where necessary Providing ongoing care for patients with long-term conditions, ensuring continuity and holistic management Participating as part of the acute on-call team, responding to urgent patient needs and supporting same-day access within the practice Maintaining accurate, timely, and clinically appropriate medical records Working collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to support coordinated patient care Participating in practice meetings, clinical governance activities, and service development initiatives Contributing to quality improvement, audit, and patient safety processes Supporting the practices commitment to education, including involvement in training and mentoring where appropriate Practice Responsibilities Teamwork & Collaboration Work as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team including GPs, GP trainees, ANPs, ACPs, pharmacists, nurses, HCAs, and administrative staff Actively participate in monthly clinical meetings Contribute to case discussions, shared learning, and continuous service development Provide clinical leadership, advice, and support to colleagues as appropriate Education, Training & Development Lupset Health Centre is a forward-thinking training practice with a strong commitment to professional development.
