Description

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of family situations to identify needs and risks.
Develop and implement individualized support plans for families.
Provide advice, guidance, and practical assistance to families and carers.
Liaise and collaborate with social services, schools, healthcare providers, and other agencies.
Monitor and review family progress and adjust support strategies accordingly.
Advocate on behalf of families to access appropriate resources and services.
Maintain accurate and confidential case records in compliance with data protection regulations.
Facilitate group work sessions and community activities aimed at supporting families.
Report safeguarding concerns promptly following organizational protocols.
Requirements
Proven experience working with children and families in a social care or support capacity.
Strong knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage complex situations with sensitivity and professionalism.
Understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and best practice in family support work.
Capability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload effectively.
Empathy, patience, and resilience when dealing with challenging family dynamics.
Relevant qualifications in social work, community development, or related fields preferred.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:30
Pay Per Hour: £16.35
