Secondary Geography Teacher

Location: Kidderminster
Contract: Full-time, long-term

Paragon Education is recruiting an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Kidderminster. The school is committed to delivering an engaging curriculum that encourages students to explore the world around them and develop strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

You will be joining a collaborative humanities department that values creativity, student engagement, and high standards of teaching and learning.

What the role involves:

Planning and delivering engaging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Encouraging students to develop understanding of physical and human geography
Preparing pupils for assessments and GCSE examinations
Differentiating lessons to support a range of abilities
Monitoring progress and providing constructive feedback
Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental development

What you’ll need:

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school
Strong subject knowledge and passion for the subject
Effective classroom management skills
Ability to engage and motivate students
A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
