Hannett Hale Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a busy, welcoming primary school in the heart of Carlisle. We are looking for a dedicated EYFS/Reception Teacher to join their team full time from 1st June until the end of the summer term, with the strong possibility of extension into the new academic year.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who thrives in Early Years settings. You’ll be joining a supportive, experienced team who work collaboratively to create a nurturing, engaging and creative learning environment for their youngest learners.
About the Role
In this role, you will:
• Teach and support Reception aged children, delivering fun, creative and purposeful learning opportunities
• Plan and deliver high quality lessons in line with EYFS frameworks
• Create a warm, stimulating classroom environment that supports early development
• Work closely with other EYFS staff to ensure consistency and high standards
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold all safeguarding and school policies
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching in EYFS/Reception
• A nurturing, child centred approach
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
• A proactive, flexible attitude and genuine passion for Early Years education

• Enhanced DBS check
• Recent, relevant references
• Full safeguarding and registration checks in line with DfE guidelines
