Summary

We are looking for a Children Social Worker to join the Children in Care Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience within a direct local authority, per the new DfE guidelines.

About the team:

The Children in Care Team is a dedicated and child-focused service that supports children and young people who are looked after by the local authority. The team is committed to ensuring that every child receives high-quality care, stability and opportunities to achieve positive outcomes. Working in a relational and trauma-informed way, the team prioritises building strong, consistent relationships with children, their families and carers.

You will be part of a collaborative and supportive environment, working closely with partner agencies to deliver effective care planning, safeguard children and promote their wellbeing, education and long-term independence. Regular supervision, manageable caseloads and ongoing professional development are integral to the team's approach.

About you:

A degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) with a minimum of 3-year experience is essential to be considered for this role. Experience working in a Children Social Work Team lends well to the success of this position.
