Start Date: September 2026
⏰ Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

We are seeking a caring, patient and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Eccles from September.
This rewarding role will involve providing 1:1 support to a Reception-aged child with an EHCP, working closely alongside the school's SENCO and wider support team to help the child access learning and thrive within the school environment.
The child has a diagnosis of Autism and particularly enjoys spending time outdoors. As part of your role, you will support the child with regulation strategies, including supervised outdoor activities and play when they become dysregulated.
The Role:

- Working closely with the SENCO, class teacher and external professionals
- Supporting the child's social, emotional and academic development
- Implementing personalised strategies to promote engagement and wellbeing
- Facilitating outdoor learning and play opportunities when required
- Building a positive and trusting relationship with the child
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience supporting children with Autism and additional needs
- Is patient, nurturing and resilient
- Can remain calm and proactive when supporting dysregulated behaviours
- Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Is committed to helping children achieve their full potential
- Previous experience within a primary school or SEN setting is desirable
This is an excellent opportunity to make a genuine difference in a child's educational journey while becoming part of a supportive and inclusive school community.
If you are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are available for a September start, we would love to hear from you.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS, satisfactory references, and full compliance with KCSIE (2026) guidance and safer recruitment standards. Overseas police checks may be required where applicable.
