What is GroupSave?
GroupSave is a train ticket discount for groups of 3 to 9 adults travelling together, giving you 1/3 off Standard Off-Peak fares.
It can be easily applied when booking online, and it's valid for travel outside peak times on weekdays, as well as at any time on weekends and bank holidays.
Because it makes tickets a lot cheaper, it cannot be combined with other discounts, such as Railcards.

When you book together online, you'll get a pop-up to apply GroupSave if it's available for your trip. Getting cheap tickets is easy when you book and flexible as you can get them on your phone, email and print them out if you want.
Can you buy GroupSave tickets at the station
GroupSave is available at all of our stations - right across the Greater Anglia network. So you and your group can have a day out in London, head for the coast, explore the countryside or go shopping and sightseeing in one of the region's towns or cities.

Kids for £2
Our Kids for £2 offer is also valid with GroupSave! This means, children aged 5-15 get to travel for £2 each with an adult off-peak (max 4 per adult). Children under 5 travel for free on our trains.
Large group bookings for 10+ people
Groups of 10 or more can get a special discount when travelling together on our network!
These tickets are not available online or on our app. To get the offer, you'll need to make a request at least 10 days before through our online form or by calling us on 0345 600 7245 (Option 6).
Our special group travel tickets are delivered via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery, to a UK address only. There is currently not an option to receive your tickets digitally.

Yes, when you search a journey for 3-9 adults online or on our app, you'll be shown a pop-up if its applicable for your journey, which will allow you to apply the GroupSave discount.
Yes, if you're travelling in a group of 3-9 adults, you can get cheap tickets through 1/3 discount on off-peak travel if you book together with GroupSave, rather than booking individually. If your group is larger, you can get a different travel discount for large groups by calling us 10 days before your travel date on 0345 600 7245 (Option 5) or through our online request form.
Terms and Conditions
The following ticket types are available with GroupSave:
Off-Peak and Off-Peak Day Singles and Returns
Super Off-Peak Day Singles and Returns
Off-Peak and Super Off-Peak Day Travelcards (from outside London fare zones 1-6 only)
Where there is no Off-Peak ticket type available then GroupSave is available on Anytime Day Singles and Returns, but only after 09:30 (any time at weekends).
GroupSave is only valid with Standard Class ticket types.
Time restrictions apply on Mondays to Fridays, except Bank Holidays. The restrictions on tickets with GroupSave discount are the same as those on the equivalent undiscounted tickets - in other words, there are no extra restrictions with GroupSave.
Travel is allowed at any time on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
