Paragon Education is recruiting an engaging and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Kidderminster. You will be joining a collaborative humanities department where creativity and high-quality teaching are valued. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students across subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies.
What the role involves:
Planning and delivering engaging Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Encouraging critical thinking, discussion, and analytical skills
Supporting students in developing knowledge across a range of humanities subjects
Preparing pupils for assessments and GCSE examinations where applicable
Differentiating lessons to support varying abilities and learning styles
Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development
What you’ll need:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience teaching Humanities subjects in a UK secondary school
Strong subject knowledge across History, Geography, or related disciplines
Ability to engage and motivate students effectively
Good classroom management and organisational skills
A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
